Section 1: Health
Hot Stuff Frenchies warrants that all puppies are sold in good health at the time of delivery/pickup, having been examined by a licensed veterinarian.
Section 2: Vet Checkup
Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 2 business days of receiving the puppy. Failure to do so voids the health guarantee.
Section 3: Not Covered
The following are NOT covered under any health guarantee: intestinal parasites, hernias, hypoglycemia, undescended testicles, under/overbite, injuries, allergies, heat exhaustion, luxating patellas, collapsing trachea, breathing issues, palate deformities, Coccidia, Giardia, mites, hookworm, whipworm, leg calve perthese disease, or any condition related to normal French Bulldog breed characteristics.
Section 4: Breeding Quality Not Guaranteed
No guarantee is made that the puppy will be of breeding quality. A puppy purchased on a limited AKC registration is sold as a companion/pet only. Unauthorized breeding is a breach of this agreement.
Section 5: Health Guarantee
Hot Stuff Frenchies guarantees this puppy against life-threatening genetic defects for 1 year from the date of sale. This guarantee is extended to 3 years from the date of sale if the buyer provides documented proof of continuous NuVet Plus supplementation (autoship order #648631). Guarantee covers replacement only — no refunds. In the event of death due to a covered genetic condition, necropsy by a licensed vet is required within 24 hours and must confirm the genetic cause.
Section 6: Veterinary Diagnosis
Any health guarantee claim must be supported by a written diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian specifying the condition, its genetic basis, and the veterinarian's contact information. Hot Stuff Frenchies reserves the right to request a second veterinary opinion.
Section 7: Shipping and Delivery
Hot Stuff Frenchies is not responsible for health issues arising during or after transport. All delivery arrangements are made in good faith and buyer assumes responsibility upon receipt of the puppy.
Section 8: Fulfillment of Health Guarantee
This health guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original buyer. Replacement puppies will be of comparable value and are subject to availability.
Section 9: Under No Circumstance
Under no circumstance may a buyer retain a living puppy AND receive a replacement or refund. If a replacement puppy is requested, the original puppy must be returned to Hot Stuff Frenchies first.
Section 10: Care of Puppy
Buyer agrees to provide proper veterinary care, appropriate nutrition, and a safe, loving environment. Buyer agrees never to resell this puppy to a third party without first contacting Hot Stuff Frenchies, and to never surrender this puppy to a shelter or rescue organization.
Section 11: Breeding Rights
Breeding rights are NOT included unless explicitly stated in writing and paid for separately. Unauthorized breeding of a limited-registration dog constitutes a breach of this agreement and is subject to a $10,000 fine.
Section 12: Financial Burden of Care
Hot Stuff Frenchies is not responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred after the puppy leaves our care, regardless of circumstance.
Section 13: No Guarantee on Size
No guarantee is made regarding the puppy's adult size. Frenchies are an inconsistent breed when it comes to final adult weight and size.
Section 14: Failure to Pick Up
If buyer fails to pick up or arrange delivery by the time the puppy reaches 12 weeks of age without prior written agreement, a boarding fee of $45/day will be charged beginning at 12 weeks.
Section 15: Mutual Non-Disparagement
Both parties agree to refrain from making disparaging, defamatory, or false statements about the other in any public or private forum, including social media. Breach of this clause is grounds for legal action.
Section 16: Financial Responsibility for Health Care
All veterinary costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer after pickup/delivery. Hot Stuff Frenchies will never reimburse veterinary fees.
Section 16b: County of Initiation
Any legal disputes arising from this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia and shall be filed in the county of the seller's principal place of business.
Section 17: Agreement to Terms
By signing below, buyer acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to all terms of this Purchase Agreement. This agreement is binding upon execution.
